Happy Holidays from Wylie Sofia Garcia As I look back on the 2012 year of exhibits, shows, and creative revelry, I am continually humbled and greatful for the support of my family, friends, well-wishers and sustaining art patrons. Thank you all for making this year a success!     Thanks to the energy surrounding my last exibit Dazzle Camouflage at G Gallery Houston, I am now back in Vermont with a mind swirling with fresh ideas, potential projects, and the a goal of producing an artist book in the coming year, stay tuned to find out more! *** As we round out the end of this year there are a couple of art happenings that I would like to share with you. Burlington's First Friday is tomorrow and the First Friday Art Walk is a great way to get some holiday shopping done as well as support a favorite artist! I will have art at the S.P.A.C.E. Gallery as part of their Small Works Show. This show will be up for the entire month of December and will also be apart of the Holiday Hop hosted by SEABA.  Creative Competition also takes place during the First Friday Art Walk and I will have a piece titled Texas Tableaux, come check it out  opening night and don't forget to vote for your favorite creative submission.  I will post pictures of this on my Facebook Page following the competition.  And Finally there is the Holiday Hop! Join us in the South End Arts District for a weekend of Holiday sHopping! Get your Map for all of the open venues at the SEABA 404 Pine Street, Burlington, VT 05401.   Friday, December 14 from 5 – 8pm Saturday, December 15 from 10 – 5pm Sunday, December 16 from 12 – 4pm I hope you can make it to one of these events if you live in the region, if you don't I hope we can find a way to connect in the New Year!  Happy 2013!
